SCRAPA’s mission includes support for water users
One reason for our interest in past, current and future industrial activity in the upper watershed is a motivation to maintain the creek as a source of high quality water.
There are currently a number of households that have licenses to use Springer Creek for domestic and irrigation purposes. But the largest license holder is the Village of Slocan, which has always considered Springer Creek to be a back-up to the regular supply from Gwillim Creek.
A list of current water licenses can be viewed online: Current Users
